Bookkeeping constellation
The AP Engine: a star of Dogstar.
Accounts payable as a managed service. Invoices arrive by email, the engine reads each one and drafts the entry, and a person approves every entry before it posts.
In service for one client
Why it exists
Most small organizations pay their bills the same way: someone opens the email, reads the invoice, keys it in, and hopes nothing was missed. The AP Engine turns that into a review queue. The reading and keying are done for you. The judgment stays with a person.
It is built by the Dogstar method, and its way of running is the pattern the other constellations follow.
How it works
Mailbox, reading, review, post. Four steps in plain words.
What you get
A review queue instead of data entry, a person who signs off, and clean records.
Security
A person on every post, approvals that cannot drift, and no client data on this site.
